Black Sex Link chickens are not a recognized breed, but a hybrid of a Barred Rock hen & a Rhode Island Red rooster and are a dual-purpose bird. They produce approximately 280+ extra-large to jumbo sized, brown eggs per year and can lay year-round. A hen will grow to be about 6 lbs.
